The next Norfolk Wedding Business Club is scheduled for Tuesday 22nd November 2011 at The George Hotel on Arlington Lane, Newmarket Road, Norwich, Norfolk.

The meeting starts at 6.30pm and finishes at 8.30pm. There will be free refreshments to all attending, the option to do your own `elevator pitch` or we will do it for you, a great chance to network with other like-minded wedding businesses and also a presentation from Wendy Norman of Livelink Resource.

Working together and not against each other!

The Norfolk Wedding Business Club has been formed with the aim of getting wedding professionals together to help each other within the local wedding industry.

Our Aim

The aim is to discuss any issues that we may have in trying to grow our business, in trying to attract new business and to work with each other. A number of our clients mentioned that they could benefit from working with similar experts in their field and to possibly pass work on to them instead of turning work away.

I honestly feel that there is a place for a regular event where we can all help each other. 

At times it may feel that we are all alone with certain problems that arise within our business but you may be surprised to find that these problems are quite common and that getting together and speaking to like-minded people can often help and at times find a simple solution.

The Event

Each meeting will be held once a month from 6pm to 8pm in a very informal environment, no scary elevator pitch, I will do all the introductions and you can say your bit if you wish.

We have a venue in Norwich, The Oaklands Hotel, which is a central part of the local wedding industry and they are happy to host our meetings each month.

Complimentary refreshments will be available to all members and if you are feeling hungry there is always the excellent Oaklands Carvery at just £3.50 as well as a bar for those who fancy a glass of wine or a pint to wind down with at the end of the day.

This will just be an informal get-together where you can talk to others in the industry, exchange business cards, build relationships and basically to help each other.

The Cost

Membership is free to the first 25 to Sign Up and then it will be £12.00 per year to all others wishing to join.

There will be a cost of £10 per meeting to Members and £15.00 to guests and non-members.

There are no minimum number of events that you have to attend, you can `pay as you go` if you like.

Our brand new wedding magazine is due out in September and will once again be available free to any couples getting married in Norfolk.

It will be available by request on Norfolk Wedding Days, as a download or to be posted direct to your door, you can pick up your copy at either of our wedding fayres or at the various wedding shows where we will be exhibiting.
