Tim's weddings are shot in a photojournalistic style. He blends-in with the wedding as much as possible, not getting too involved, just observing and capturing the day as it unfolds quickly and quietly. Working with natural light and avoiding the use of flash is also something that Tim is very passionate about. Tim's preference is to shoot mainly black and white images but he understands the need to compliment this with some colour coverage. Tim also realises that some form of formal pictures will be required at most weddings. These are kept to a minimum to avoid disrupting the flow of the day and are shot as quickly as is possible. It is not his job to hold up the day but to record it.
Tim's beautiful prints are presented in world class Jorgensen hand made albums. These are presented in a variety of finnishes including premium leather to wood or metal, for a traditional or modern feel - the choice is yours!
"Tim Bowden weddings" is run by tim and his wife Amanda from their comfortable home in Suffolk and Tim's studio in Shoreditch, London. These bases give Tim the scope to easily cover East Anglia and London. With the benefit of convenient access to all of the major motorway networks, nationwide coverage is also provided. Tim only shoots 1 wedding per day and limits his bookings to 30 per year.
